Letter from Owner-President

A lot has changed in 55 years, and yet some things have stayed exactly the same. For over 55 years we have been delivering high precision parts to our customers specifications. The equipment used today, and some of the parts we make, could not have even been imagined by my father when he started this company in 1955. Even as we embrace the technology changes that shape our industry, at Skild we still maintain a pride and old world craftsmanship that he instilled on day one.

Today, we are able to make your part with tolerances, down to 50 millionths. Our commitment to producing every part, on every job, to every customer’s exact specifications, is what has kept our clients returning for decades.

As times continue to change, so does the use of our products. It is incredible to think that Skild has had a hand in creating parts that are used in the international space station, as well as playing a role in modern medicine.

I am proud to be the president of a company that remains vibrant and current, and demonstrates the old world values on which we were built.
